HL-20 Lifting Body
Kit was different but pleasant to build.  The only problem is a tendency to get the nosecone fouled with glue during the construction phase.  I have seen this same problem mentioned by other reviewers but I couldn't think of a way to prevent it.  I let the glue dry then sanded it off.  Problem fixed.

Launch:  First flight 10/26/01.  Lift-off was quick on a C6-3.  She immediately began a corkscrew ascent.  At motor ejection the HL-20 was at about 150' altitude and went into its "glide".  It definately needs more weight in the tail.  Glide was nose down but was a good spiral.  Fortunately HL-20 is relatively lightweight and sustained no damage upon landing (impact).  Will adjust and try again.
