Pickle
Pickle is constructed of a simple paper tube I picked up somewhere.  The three fins are made of foamboard and the nosecone is a piece of rigid foam.  Neat trick here...I formed the cone by rolling it on the kitchen table, applying more pressure to one end than the other.  Presto....cone shape!  I built Pickle because I've always liked the short stubby rockets like Estes Fatboy and some others.

Launch:  Pickles first flight showed it was a winner.  A bit of weathervaning but you have to expect that with rockets of this type.  Altitude wasn't spectacular but was acceptable.  The streamer is probably not enough for this one but the rocket probably cost me 25 cents to make so I'm not too worried.  Over several flights this rocket has proved to be durable and entertaining.  I recommend delving into the short, stubby class of rockets.
